As a grade level we need to present our successes and challenges with this pillar to our school. We decided the best way to do this will be in a forms of controlled groups. Without giving to much information we will present our staff with one task, separate them into groups and assign different directions for the same task. Our goal will be to see how each group presents the same information through expression.
Idealistically it sounds great and has worked in some of our classes but how does it look in all classes? That still seems to be the question. Although we have chosen to transition to our next pillar of Iterative learning we have decided to continue to work on choice of expression. I myself am struggling with it in math and am determined to find a way to make it work ;)
