This week, we’re looking at Play vs Games, and continuing to make our definitions more specific so that we can more intentionally design learning experiences for our students.
Eden presented an affinity chart where play vs game is graphed according to how individual it is vs being interactive and how goal-oriented vs. self-directed.
- enjoyable and interactive
- the goal needs to be attainable
- games that are visually appealing
Next week will take a unit plan for math and map it across the levels of play
