In Science students are learning about food groups and making healthy food choices and how to create a balanced meal. Students in 212 are looking at recipes and analyzing them to decide if those meals are balanced healthy meals and having collaborative conversations about the recipes. Suggestions from other grade level partners were to show the students video clips of MasterChef Junior: where children are allowed to cook meals for a prize. Students are able to critique to see what happens when a key ingredient is left off a recipe. http://www.fox.com/masterchef-junior
